As the forum for countywide decision-makers in Sacramento County, the Sacramento Transportation Authority (STA) develops plans and strategies to align transportation priorities with funding at the local, regional, state, and federal levels. These efforts aim to assist partner agencies in maximizing existing funding, advocating for transportation priorities, and positioning these priorities for additional funding opportunities.
2023 Regional Pavement Analysis
STA completed a regional pavement analysis and presented this analysis to the STA Governing board in June 2024. The analysis, documented the current pavement condition, policies, and practices at a local and regional level, quantified regional pavement maintenance needs over thirty years, and will help inform future funding and policy decisions on transportation.
Sacramento Transportation Authority is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
